QT Medical recently announced the launch of Xpress ECG service, the world’s first 12-lead ECG home test, to help reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 by bringing ECG tests to patients’ homes. When the doctor orders an Xpress ECG test, a kit including a PCA 500 recorder, an electrode strip, and a postage-paid return envelope will be shipped to the patients. QT Medical had previously conducted a clinical trial, which showed minimal or no training is needed to use PCA 500. All ECGs are automatically transmitted to the cloud, and a preliminary computer interpretation is instantly available. Through the cloud, physicians can review the results from anywhere to make informed decisions.
